Everything was enjoyable and tasted good. I never looked or thought about the nutrition info on anything and it feels really, really good. I’m so thankful for you and that I took a leap on your coaching; I truly believe that it helped get me mentally and physically to a better space. I wouldn’t be making any progress with all of this without your guidance so, thank you!
When I’m still hungry, even if we’re having something like pizza, I know I can have more of it if I want it. I also can now feel when I’m comfortably full and satisfied, which is something I always struggled with when it came to those kinds of foods. After eating more pizza, I was asked if I wanted dessert, and was truly shocked when I said no – I honestly didn’t want any! Looking back on that I realize how PROUD I am of MY BODY to be able to tell me what & how much of something I want to eat, no matter what it is. I’m finally truly HONORING my hunger.
It’s mind-boggling to me that I lived my life opposite of this for so long. Food & exercise had SO much control and I put SO much meaning and weight on what I was eating and how much I was working out. This has been an extremely LIBERATING mindset and experience.
I took a photo with friends the other day that I didn’t like. But instead of focusing on what I looked like or why I didn’t like the way I looked, I realized I’m never going to get this moment back. It’s not about what I look like but it’s about the moment! I’ll never have that if I always live in a state of NOT ENOUGH.
The saddest part of looking back on how far I’ve come is how much energy I wasted worrying about the stuff that was insignificant. All of the things that I forced myself to miss out on. I can’t enjoy that baguette in France; I didn’t have the cake at that wedding – I’m never going to get those memories back. But now, my MINDSET has completely changed and I’m so excited to never miss an important moment like that again.
